Saint Antim Ivireanul, Metropolitan – founder of the ‘All Saints’ Monastery, patron of Romanian art
Professor, PhD Mihael Palade The study analyses Metropolitan Antim Ivireanul’s direct involvement in shaping the architectural and artistic profile of the Monastery of All Saints in Bucharest, arguing, on the basis of the miniature of the church featured in the 1713 Foundation Charter and the 1715 Royal Decree, that the hierarch personally contributed to the plans, sculptures and ornamentation of his foundation.
