Studies in Orthodox theology — dogmatic, patristic, biblical, liturgical and church history — written by Romanian hierarchs, clergy and theologians, alongside translated contributions from theologians of other Orthodox Churches; the section usually opens with a study by His Eminence Varsanufie on the theme of the issue.

Studies and essays on ecclesiastical and cultural history — focusing in particular on Râmnic, Oltenia and the Brâncoveanu era —, the history of books and manuscripts, monuments and foundations, ancient art, philology and literature (Eminescu), alongside memoirs by writers and academics.

Unpublished translations from the Holy Fathers — catecheses by Saint Theodore the Studite, homilies by Saint Gregory the Great, words of Saint John Chrysostom or Proclus of Constantinople —, translated directly from the originals and accompanied by the translator’s philological notes.

Texts on living Orthodox spirituality, most often written by spiritual fathers and teachers from the Greek and Athonite traditions: reflections on prayer, fasting, temptations, passions and virtues, as well as spiritual analyses of contemporary humanity — education, psychology and digital culture.

Christian art and its spiritual interpretation: essays on film, iconography, architecture and music, in which the work of art is viewed as a place of transfiguration and a testimony to the faith.

The Pilgrim’s Path: notes from a pilgrimage to the Holy Places — the Jordan, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Mount Tabor, Mount Sinai — in which descriptions of the places are interwoven with biblical geography, history and the traveller’s spiritual experience.

Spiritual interviews and dialogues, mostly with abbots and monks from Mount Athos or from the monasteries of Oltenia and Argeș, on prayer, monasticism, passions and life in Christ.

Christian-inspired literary prose — short stories and excerpts from novels — featuring themes drawn from monastic life and the history of the Vâlcea region.

Religiously inspired poetry — original verses or reprints from the works of Christian bishops and writers.

Theatre and dramatic art: plays with historical and ecclesiastical themes, published in full, as well as essays on film and theatre; since 2022, this section has been continued and expanded by Ars Christiana.
