The inaugural issue of the magazine, which continues the tradition of the periodical Renașterea under a new name, opens with a foreword by His Eminence Father Varsanufie, who frames the new series as a cultural endeavour dedicated to bearing witness to the true faith — ranging from a feature on Vâlcea hagiography dedicated to the Venerable Daniil and Misail of Turnu and Archimandrite Ioan of Hurezi, to pages from Studia Humanitatis by Dinu Săraru, Nae Georgescu, George Anca, Dan Ciachir and Dan Zamfirescu; an Athonite colloquium with Elder Gavriil Aghioritul; a dramatisation of the Paterikon by Alex Ștefan; and the poems of Horia Zilieru and Tiberiu Păun.
