Additional documentary evidence concerning the life and work of Saint Calinic of Cernica, Bishop of Râmnic
Dr. Oana-Mădălina Popescu The study presents previously unpublished documents from the Library of the Romanian Academy relating to Saint Calinic, covering the period of his abbotship at Cernica Monastery and his episcopate in Râmnic, including deeds, letters to the abbots Nicandru and Diomid, documents concerning the Pupăza estate and the baptism of the Jew Moise, as well as an analysis of the two types of seals of Cernica, dating from 1819 and 1842.
