The study carries out a comparative analysis between the works of Antim Ivireanul, in particular the Didahii, and the poetic works of Mihai Eminescu, identifying thematic and expressive parallels concerning the cosmic-maritime and astral imagery, the metaphor of the moon as mistress of the sea, and the vision of creation, whilst also drawing attention to the parallel between Antim and Bossuet as Christian orators sharing a common Asianic style.
