A brief overview of anti-mythology over the last two decades
Associate Professor, PhD Ioan Lazăr This article traces the development of research into and the veneration of Saint Antim Ivireanul following his canonisation in 1992, with a focus on contributions from the last two decades: new editions of Antim’s works, Romanian-Georgian collaboration, the events marking the commemorative year of 2016, and the work of the Antim Ivireanul Centre for Medieval and Pre-modern Studies in Râmnicu-Vâlcea, including the journal Lumina lumii and the Antimiana anthologies.
