Nazareth - The City of the Annunciation
Theodora Videscu Nazareth, the city of the Annunciation, is presented as the site of the Incarnation of the Son of God, with references to the Spring of the Mother of God, to the life of the Virgin Mary as described by Saints Athanasius, Ambrose, Ephrem the Syrian and Epiphanius, as well as to the two basilicas of the Annunciation: the Greek Orthodox Basilica of Saint Gabriel the Archangel and the Roman Catholic Cathedral designed by Giovanni Muzio.
