Dedicated to the Centenary of the Great Union, under the banner of the Orthodox faith as the foundation of the unity of all Romanians, opened by His Eminence Varsanufie — from a comprehensive collection of ecclesiastical history authored by Academician Father Mircea Păcurariu (The Church and the Union of 1918), Associate Professor Ion Marian Croitoru (Orthodoxy as a factor in the unity and continuity of Romanians), Mircea-Gheorghe Abrudan (The Union of Bessarabia with Romania) and Father Laurențiu Rădoi on the involvement of the Romanian Orthodox Church in the Great Union, to sections on Romanian priests during the Great War (Prof. Adrian Cioroianu), the ‘birth certificate’ of Greater Romania, two family stories about Unification by Dinu Săraru and Dan Ciachir’s The Church-going Boyar, Saint Proclus’s Eulogy to Saint Andrew the Apostle, the Patriarch of Constantinople, a theological colloquium with Professor Dimitrie Țelenghidis from Thessaloniki, Ivona Boitan’s play On the Way to Iași and Ștefan Zară’s short story The Abbess.
